POV: it’s summer, it’s market day, and there are tomatoes *everywhere*, all kinds, lovingly grown all summer long by real people and brought to the market stand to sell.

You shop around and pick out all the cute looking ones you can find - these aren’t your perfectly circular red supermarket ones with no flavour, these taste just like you remember them from grandma’s greenhouse!

You take them home, cut them, add just enough seasoning - just enough to let those juicy ripe tomatoes shine that is - and a bunch of herbs, a squeeze of garlic, and voila!

That’s turutomat.

We taste perfectly ripe tomatoes with a hint of herbs, just like a tomato sauce that goes with everything. Hints of spices and slight warming chilli heat balances everything out.
